Frivolous Fridays: Color Blocking

by frédérik

The results are in, starting off with Mica sharing her lovely and vivid ensemble:

Details at her blog, Away From Blue.

A real son of a pun.

Says I: This is probably the first time I've ever worn three different hues. It made me nervous. In any case, while no a stellar example of color blocking (color blah-ing, maybe), I technically meet the challenge requirements. So yes: I'm okay with the fact that the ladies totally put me to shame in this round of Frivolous Fridays - not that it's a contest or anything. :) Moving on...

Jason Wu for Target top. Vintage/thrifted suede belt and square dancing skirt.

Says Becky: "I liked the idea of taking this totally classic silhouette and updating it with bold colors. And everyone I met liked that I was wearing a big, red, fluffly skirt."

Becky's turn!

In honor of spring and Easter and blooming hydrangea everywhere, this week's challenge is: pastels.

Don your pinks, lilacs, and powder blues and send me photographic evidence by Sunday, April 8!

Everyone looks great! Love Becky's skirt! :)

Trying to think if I have any pretty pastel dresses like Becky for the next challenge - I will need to hunt in my wardrobe!

Thanks Mica! I vote you wear lots of powder blue eyeshadow... Heehee! I kid!

...Though, come to think of it, that sounds like a lot of fun!
